My sister and I had this idea and we called it 'Pizzagna.' We never made it because we were 7 and 5. And then I discovered deep dish as an adult and was like 'close enough' and 'no, thanks.'

The real lifehack would be to use dry ice (-109F) to freeze liquor (-15F) and make tequilacles.
Noted; but don't forget John Nimmo and Isabella Sorley were charged for their threats against Criado-Perez back in January (as the article states). I agree that it's frustrating, but if women in positions of power can use that to force the police and legal establishment to treat these things more seriously then that…
One down, about a quarter of the internet to go.
Like the precedent though.
Rape threats over the design of a bank note. I keep repeating this fact to myself; I see the Tweet. Yet my brain keeps sending back this news bite, stamped "WTF?" I think it's because I had no idea how low the threshold could be for a man to feel his status threatened. If something as impersonal as a bank note can…
That must have been heart-breaking.
Umm... why? Aside from age based bigotry, of course.
Whatever you do, if you're younger than 30, know the difference between "your", "you're", and "you". :)
To be sure I understand your position, let's say you are jailed for a relatively minor offense and get a couple of years in. Is it okay that your jail sentence includes rape? I mean, shit, you're in there right? Doesn't matter what it's for and you would be okay with it happening to you or a jailed family member.
I think the outrage is due to 1) A person being placed in a cell with a person who previously sexually assaulted them and 2) The higher probability that trans-women will be a vulnerable population in terms of sexual assault specifically, and abuse more generally.
If they're not the most insecure, they're certainly the most nauseating.
The people who brag the most about how #blessed they are are the most insecure in general, not just in relationships, right? It's the whole "lady doth protest too much" thing.
Miss America 1951 sounds like a badass. Can we have an article on her, pretty please?
In her original article and here, Erin very clearly outlines that the point isn't that Miss Americas should have "perfect pasts," it's that the Miss America Organization has a pretty ridiculous definition of what constitutes bad behavior. This sentence makes that point TOTALLY clear:
"Not that it makes it right"
You're correct. It doesn't. Hence calling it out.
The hazing is fucked up, but not quite as fucked up as putting a bunch of women in a degrading pageant where they're ranked against each other and scrutinized on every aspect of their physical appearance. So I get why Miss America wouldn't have a problem with it.
14 minutes. you Greek folks are getting slow.
OH
Agreed. A locking lid on my crockpot would have saved the backseat of my car from BBQ sauce stains...
