I used to go to feminist bookstores in the late ‘80s. It was wonderful to go into a space where everything on the shelf could be mind-blowing. I’m sad these spaces are closing.

Wait until you get older and your eyesight suffers from too much screen time. Paper books are easier on the eyes.

Ok, so I did a search, and yes, the tube sites are squeezing out other smaller companies, which I already knew. But the tube sites are potentially as profitable as YouTube, with ads.

How is this messing with porn profits? Gail Dines makes a case that free porn is just advertising that draws people in to the paid stuff, and that they’re making piles of money from this business model.
