Sounds like she has serious mental health problems. Is there somewhere you can report her for that?

You should complain. If enough people say something maybe the venue will ban scents. Also, depending on where you are, you might be able to get some sort of justice with medical documentation. At the very least you should be able to get a refund.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having landlord problems, but if you’re finishing school in six months you might as well tough it out then move. In the meantime, stop using the storage area. If you’re going to move you probably want to downsize/declutter a bit to make it easier, and having all your stuff in your apartment

I’m autistic, and female. It’s normal for autistic people of both sexes to be androgynous between the ears. They’ve even done brain scans and found it. Some of us are androgynous down the middle, while others are a weird blend of masculine and feminine. (The extreme male brain theory is bullshit.)

My hair is in better shape than ever now that I don’t use any product at all. I have to use cooler water in the shower to get it to detangle, and the first two weeks were agonizingly itchy, but my ends are in better shape than they used to be (I noticed it at the one-month mark) and the hair on top of my head is quite

Canadians: Am I the only one who’s really angry that Trudeau isn’t going through with his promise of electoral reform? I though he actually was going to go for it, with the town halls we had. I would be less angry if he had just done nothing at all after the election.

What was the fibre content of that dress? Was it natural fibre, or a plastic derivative spewing toxins (dioxin?) into the atmosphere as it burned. Did she have a permit to burn that dress???

My mother modified hers and wore it as a ball gown. She also reused the tiara.

They’re revoking Nexus cards for some people from the 7 countries who live in Canada or the US.

Maybe it’s only for second trimester abortions (which are pretty common for incest babies).

I read a comment on another site saying that these policies allow more poor babies to be born, which increases state funding from the federal government or something. So poor babies are lucrative.

I’d forgotten Veronica played keyboards. That was my favourite show when I was young, and I was pissed when I had to watch the first moon walk instead. Also, there’s a real art to writing bubblegum songs like that. I want to be able to write songs like that. (The original, that is - a total classic.)

I’m not sure that marching hurts, if it’s about standing up for something positive. But I do think people need to listen to each other, rather than call each other names.

Yeah, I don’t know how to argue with people who get it backwards, either.

I’m on disability in Canada, and I think I’m pretty much afraid all the time, on a deeper level, that they’ll just cancel it and leave me to die. It’s not a good feeling. I don’t know much about the Netherlands, so I don’t know what people are feeling there. I know economic security is a big deal here in NA.

Economic security. People are feeling insecure, and they regress and look for outgroups to blame. So what is making them insecure? Globalism? Jobs going offshore? Is there a way to reverse that trend? What about basic income? Or reducing free trade to have more control over local economies?

I’m in Canada so I need a different network. Fortunately I seem to be meeting people. I want to organize up here around phone supremacy, among other things.

I know. I keep hearing about vigils I wanted to go to but didn’t know about. I found twitter too overwhelming, though, so am aiming to get on someone’s email list.

That’s crap that they’ve changed it. I used to have a Twitter account and I didn’t need a phone then.

I go barefoot outside. I find it much easier than shoes and only wear footwear when it’s really cold. There are kids who only wear socks when it’s really hot and go barefoot the rest of the time (when they’re allowed). Some people hate shoes, some people love them. I think the key is people being able to decide what
