I agree for this very reason - while from here on I will want a daily commuter that is fairly efficient, there will always be a gas-hogging V8 or a high-strung turbocharged engine in my garage for when I really want to enjoy driving and I would without a doubt pay a major premium to continue enjoying this privilege…
I do remain dubious of their claim though. They’re not the first to come up with this idea, yet no one else has ever seemed to make it work. I’m not holding my breath here.
