Just know that if you start with the wrong tank, things can go horribly, horribly wrong.

They look like they’re testing each other’s confidence. Two MI:6 agents with clashing personalities, working together for the first time.
As an advertisement, it would probably be a smart move. But it wouldn’t even touch stuff like the IDR. Maybe there should be a new class for electric SUVs and trucks. Ford, Tesla, Rivian, etc.
High-capacity human oven.
Congratulations. You’ve found an entire website full of commenters who would shovel...car dung... or something.
Welp, cities, it’s been fun. Bye!
If this was a manual I’d drive it everywhere.
All of us were interested. Only dozens of us were able to buy a brand new freaking luxury car during a worldwide economic crisis. Don’t pin this on us.
I see the NA ICE with a manual as the vinyl record of the automotive world. Vinyls are the bestselling physical music storage media in history. They were “replaced” by 8-tracks, tapes, and CDs, yet outlived them all. Electro-autonomous cars are a coming reality, just as Spotify and streaming access became a reality…
“Am I alone in being non-excited for this?”
Yes.
It might be the ultimate, but it won’t be the last. The Miata will be the last car with a steering wheel. And it will still have an NA 4 cyl with 3 pedals.
You could throw this on The Onion and no one would notice.
That is a very strong point you make.
Aaaaand there goes the manual. I know I’ve complained about too much power for a FWD car and how they should’ve gone AWD with the current Type R, so I guess I’m to blame, but this isn’t what I meant.
Hey. Copywriter here. Can we all just collectively agree not to capitalize every letter in this word just because they want us to? I get it. If you shout the word, it’s louder in the mind. That’s not always a good thing.
I'm very sorry I called you a kid.
Ulgh, you kids and your dismissive generalizations. My final thought: Cars are a big, big world. Since 2009, I’ve learned a ton about cars on this website, the vast intricacies, subsets, and cultures, the technicalities and extremely specialized moves, industrial and otherwise. And it’s been a good thing. It’s okay…
I know the options are limited, but the manual isn’t dying. The vast majority of enthusiast cars sold, including the most popular sports car in the world, the Miata, are still manuals. That’s because the manual isn’t about “performance” anymore. It’s an experience machine.
Can’t have any specialized thinking about cars. Not on a car blog. Not on OUR watch!
