Just give us a NEW Katamari game you cowards

I’ve been enjoying the game, having only played a little bit of the originals at the time, but I did find myself feeling the same way.

Farming does not bring me joy. That’s what weapon drops were in BotW. Grinding for consumables feels the opposite of earned. It quickly becomes a mindless time sink.

Yup, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Weapons Break Just Like BOTW

But the bigger question at least to me, even if the guy was cool with the idea of his images be used on videogames... was it ok for Valve to not tell players about it? not throw a note in the credits or something? Because dunno, it just feels awkward, what if someone used the model for some silly garry’s mod video, or

Even grunts like StarFox would be *something*. But no, Pokemon gotta be cheap.

Part of the problem, I think, is that a lot of these people are big on individuality. So when they see someone doing something that they consider boring or blending into the background or commonplace, they think “everyone expresses their individuality... except people like this”. NPCs, to them, are people without

Yeah, this subject really has me torn. On one hand, creatives will get screwed again and big entertainment companies are licking their chops at having to not pay them. On the other, this might be the only way the gaming and movie industry breaks out of the rut those same companies created by allowing indies to be on

I am so split on this. I do understand artists feel hurt by AI sort of taking over some of their jobs (so to speak). It’s hard to compete with a never resting, never ceasing, fast AI. On the other hand I am disabled and things like MidJourney and DallE2 have made my dreams come true of wanting to create something

I genuinely think there’s a lot of unjustified fear among the legitimate critique in here. The whole “will the fact that machines can do this kill human jobs” thing has been a thread for two hundred years and every time the reality is that jobs just shift from one place to another.

That to me seems to be the primary motivation (and quite frankly only sound reason) for this to exist in the first place, for people like my parents who would never play the game, but watch shows like this all the time and will likely watch this. It’s a great story that deserves a wider audience.

In the Fortnite universe, you’re what’s known as a “Looper”. The basic idea behind Battle Royale is that the people battling it out on the Island are essentially trapped in a time loop that lasts 22 minutes (hence why they are called “Loopers”). The last person standing is capable of escaping the Loop.

Let me add my 5 cents to what impatientandy wrote. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a masterpiece, the best game I've ever played and well worth full price. Consider getting it on the cheap if you enjoy such games.

That’s a dumb opinion to have, IMO. They can leave the base game totally as is, super difficult for you and other players who like it, but still offer a mode that make’s it a bit easier OR a bit harder. That doesn’t detract from you or anyone else’s ability to enjoy the game.  In this case it was a mod made by a fan

And considering Mario was inspired by Popeye, a character who mostly just incoherently mumbles to himself while setting up visual gags, a more artful filmmaker could totally have made a little-dialogue film work.

Yeah, I mostly pick *random* in Smash just because having totally standardised controls means I get to think about what the characters can do, rather than having to learn how to even do their moves.

It’s almost a competition for these fanatic groups for whatever cause/media they have to die on a hill for.

If you’re hoping that the Duke Nukem movie will be self-aware that the character is an asshole but also allow him to be an action hero while making it funny, then yes - watch Peacemaker. I didn’t expect to enjoy that show nearly as much as I did.

While I’m all in favor of the Metric system for most things, and see it as an advantage, this is the one place where it fails. Everything else is based on consistency and is easy to convert, such as volume of water (or liquids in general, more or less) to dimensions. But basing C on when water freezes or boils isn’t

John-117 was a child kidnapped at age 6 by the space C.I.A. indoctrinated to be the perfect soldier and then at age 14 him and the rest of the 75 candidates were given biological and cybernetic enhancements that killed 30 of the 14 year old children and maimed another 12. Also those children weren’t being modified to
