Agreed, there’s a good chance that if you’re in an unstable workforce, you’ll end up in at least one place that sucks. You’ll learn how to avoid it by seeing the signs. In any case, getting one of those bad experiences isn’t bad in the long run. You learn alot from it, and you build who you are because of it.

I’m an animator in Canada. To be fair, most of what goes on in a studio is never really openly discussed outside of animation circles. When you go to school to be an animator, you’re expecting that it’s going to make alot of money and that it’ll be all fun.
