I get the spectator friendliness thing, I’ve gone to a few RA events and it’s a lot of walking, standing and rushing to the next stage. Though I’d prefer that over sitting all day on my ass. But I’m looking at TV coverage, GRC has had been broadcast on the main network and like anything in the time slow it gets about

I love rally, what I don’t get is video coverage has never been easier, better or cheaper. The NBCs coverage of the 2014 season was pretty good, but they really should have put it online.
It’s a little sad that Subaru’s Launch Control youtube is pretty much the best coverage of RA over the last few season. It drives me

I had some hope that this would be the replacement for my SX4, but it seems like there is no way that'd happen. They're not going to put any with sticks on lots so I'd have to order it. I'd have to pay 25k for it and get the lowest trim. I'd be game if they actually sold the trailhawk with an manual and I could test

I really wish that there was competition for Higgins, the 2013 chase with Ken Block was amazing.

How about the Toyota T100? It’s Toyota’s first attempt at a simpler full size pickup. Every one I've ever seen was bare-bones and beat to shit.

Is it bad that I kind of want to rally a PT Cruiser? It has all of the hallmarks of a cheap rally car. They made tons of them, so used parts would be super cheap. They actually sold them with a manual and a turbo. Lastly they're on the neon platform and the neon was actually a pretty good rally car.

This may be my favorite in car ever. Jari-Matti Latvala in a Ford Escort MkII.

I'd go a step further, why would you even need a 2nd screen? Just a spot to dock your phone and a simple AM/FM radio with bluetooth audio, searing wheel remote controls and a mic for voice commands and calls. You're car radio would never go obsolete because it's almost totally passive.

I'd really love some throwback sets in the style of early Technic and Expert Builder series. The new Technic sets don't really seem like Lego to me.

Still better then shitty music. Not much better.

I think the entire Subaru NA lineup would qualify. The forester is the most obvious though.

First they took the tire off the engine, then they took the part time 4wd, then they took the small efficient engines and then the took the sashless windows.

non Porsche flat 4, it's what make a Subaru, a Subaru and nothing else.

I doubt there will ever be another Justy state side. I guess there is a chance the fiesta will get awd with a RS package.

Detroit knows how to get down. The one that always gets me is Stevie Wonder's My Eyes Don't Cry No More. I'm pretty sure the only place I've ever heard the songs was at wedding receptions.

I totally agree, the cheapest wagon in the US is the Jetta at $20k. The Outback is $23k and there are a few more around $26k. There is almost no change they're bring the Focus or Cruze wagons state side. I did see a Mondeo (Euro Fusion) wagon driving around Detroit last year.

It'd be awesome if Nissan did something like relaunch the Datsun brand in the US with re-badged Renaults and Dacias.

One of the best auto show reveals ever. (at 59sec)

Geo, Saturn and Acura are all well selling brands that were only significant in the 90s.

Also Suzuki x90

yay another one for he list of possible replacements for my SX4.

More Manual, AWD/4WD, with 30+ MPG cars!

Current Suzuki SX4 only got 6-10, but my previous car a Subaru loyale came in at 61-70.
There must be a lot of weight on having a Subaru, I guess defunct name plate (in US) ranks lower than boxer 4.
