I send out an honorable mention to the smart car. With it's not that impressive 36 mpg (US EPA rating), cargo space that makes any sports car seem roomy and unmatched handling courtesy of the it's short wheel base and rear wheel drive.

I keep seeing Lancia Voyagers on car carriers driving through Detroit. the first time I saw one I went a little nuts, the people in the car with me were very confused.

Come on guys there are 4 of you. Roll it back over and do it again.

This reminded me about the Chevy wagon on some land I own near Marquette, MI.

Now playing

I'm really not surprised he crashed at LSPR. Block and Higgins were in a dead heat and putting up crazy fast numbers. There are lots of videos of him spinning out about a minute before the this crash. I hope they release some video from the race. Subaru put out an in car and you can see them redlining in 6th.

I like getting a pasty ('pæsti) when I'm in the UP and I'm glad it made the list. But everyone saying the Coney Dog is the totally right. I'd also place the often overlooked Detroit style pizza above the pasty.

I saw one of the cars with all the coverings on driving around Dearborn last month. I pulled up next to it and could see into the wheel well. It looked like there was another layer under the body they had on it. I know I've seen pictures of pre-production vehicles where manufacturers put old body panels on the new

Yes, they need a chase vehicle on the ground to guide down those Lockheed U-2s. So they use Pontiac G8s. It's a landing strip and a 6.0 V8. NASA is using Chargers for the same task.

One of the first surprises about the 2014 Cherokee is that I think it looks pretty good in person. I admit, I didn't think that when I saw the first leaked pictures. I thought the front end looked like an angry snake with complicated orthodonture. But in person, it feels more modern, a bit aggressive, but less

I totally agree. I was a little disappointed that they dropped the lines when they did the 200 face lift.

Yeah it kind of sucked before they raised the speed limits. Now most of i75 is now 70mph and the areas that aren't are nearly impossible to patrol if there is traffic. I was once doing about 30 over on the Lodge (M-10) and had a cop radar me. As soon as I saw him I looked down saw my speed, looked up saw him look

The only bad thing about Michigan drivers are they just don't care to stay right. This gets worse the further west you go. In the Detroit area almost everyone drives over 70 on the freeway no matter what the speed limit is. Whenever I'm in other cities I have to remind myself doing 80 in a 55 isn't cool, in Detroit

More Zeta!!!

Reminded me of this Chevrolet Express concept car that was used in Back to the Future Part II. Between this, the EV-I and the Pontiac Pursuit concept from 1987 GM had some pretty cool high efficiency car over the last 25 years.

Those are some awesome pacenotes

The 70s era Falcons are so awesome. I think the Falcon Cobra is one of the best looking muscle cars of all time. Also the Pursuit Special from Mad Max is one of the best movie cars ever.

At first I was like that cop sucks at driving and the dude kind of sucks too. Then when the brake check happened I was hoping for the guy to go full punisher on the cop. Total dick move on the cops part. Also stay right except to pass.
