Yeah, I thought about that, but I guess the main difference here being that theoretically it would be smaller, lighter, and have less power than the Mustang.

True. The way I see it is that if you're going to buy a sports car or any enthusiast minded car for only a grand you pretty much know what you're getting into. You got the car for cheap and you can put as much or as little effort into keeping it running. I would argue that it's the same deal for a lot of other cheap…
