I'm assuming you've driven the Fiat 500 Abarth before, no? If so, how does the Fiesta ST compare?

Thanks! You're close, it's actually Italian. This is a 1982 Fiat 124 Spider, sort of like the little brother to the Alfa Romeo Spider.
Fair enough, but what good is note prep if you don't have any pacenotes on you during the race?
Damn it, co-driver, you had one job!
I have an '82 (also non-turbo) and I agree that the Fix-It-Again-Tony stereotype isn't applicable when you keep up with maintenance. Basically, be kind to it and it'll be kind to you. It's good for spirited driving, not aggressive driving.
Way cool! This is the first car I bought with my own money, too. Fortunately it isn't rusty and I'm going to do everything in my power to keep it that way.
As someone who has taken the plunge and bought the 124 Sport Spider, all I can say is that it's the best way of making your classic Italian roadster dreams come true. What's more, remove the rubber bumpers and it'll look tons better. Not too fast but ton's of fun to throw into corners, and it's twin cam 4 pot sounds…
I like how he covers his face like that's going to help him go unrecognized. Yeah, nothing says inconspicuous like a gaudy leopard print supercar following an entourage in two black Cadillacs.
Don't feel too bad, in just 3 years time you can legally import a 1991 TVR Griffith 500 (My personal favorite TVR), and thank's to it's timeless design, it'll look just as new as anything else on the road.
The TVRs on that list were in the ineligible section.
Traditionally, though, Ford engines have been used a lot in TVRs. Yes most were small Euro Ford engines but the older Griffiths used a Windsor V8.
I'm still skeptical but optimistic. I know everyone likes the straight sixes but I think it would make a lot of sense for TVR to put in an American V8, preferably a Ford 5.0 unit. Then, maybe, we can start seeing them in the US.
Ram vans, too. Leave it to the Japanese to make creeper vans seems cool.
I just wanted to compliment you on the wheels. Not only are they one of the most well-done aftermarket setups I've seen, they look even better than stock. What are they, if I may ask?
Ahh fantastic! Utilize what resources you have on campus like a paper or magazine, see if you can get a regular column going.
Are you a student at UW-Madison? I am, my dream has also been to write about cars as well.
