Can you be more specific? Like, what exactly do they say? "Hey you in the skirt? Way to set back the women's movement! Buy some pants!" I mean, I'm really trying to imagine how this goes down as I've never seen anything like it. I've seen a man eat a whole head of cauliflower on the bus, while crying silently. I've

Your last paragraph says "I'm not a feminist. I believe in feminism. Most feminists I've met aren't feminists." Just FYI.

Almost daily. In every city you've ever visited. Across two countries.

I got the perfect accessory to this article!

I'm honestly very confused. I'm 40 and was raised to be a feminist. For me, that has always meant that my gender didn't predetermine my career, education or other life choices. It has meant that as a feminist, we should all be working for equality. It has never meant that dressing feminine was bad, that staying at

OH SO BEARS DON'T COUNT AS "REAL" WOMEN???

Try seltzer and fresh tears!

I'm a nurse. I'm was published in a peer reviewed scientific journal before I was 18, a national merit scholar, and magna cum laude at my university. I work hard every day making split second life saving decisions and calculations that keep ungrateful unhealthy people alive. I'm neither insane nor unintelligent, I

If that's what you really think, than I hope you never have the pleasure of experiencing really good nursing care should you ever face a healthcare crisis. In fact, I wish a thousand first year residents upon you.

I find this to be an incredibly broad and offensive statement. As a nurse with a predominantly science background working on my third degree (now my masters), I can tell you that a small minority of people are closed minded. We are taught again and again to not impart your own personal beliefs on others, and provide

It would actually make a lot of sense for the government to subsidize nursing training. I have a degree in psychology that I'm not doing anything with and if I could get free or cheap schooling I would be willing to enter a training program to become a psychiatric nurse. I'm fairly intelligent and already took

Not that much school as compared to what? Also, no one expects men to pursue careers without thinking about pay and job stability, so it is ridiculous to expect the same of women, even women in caretaking fields.

Because doctors are never judgmental assholes right?

Wtf kind of nurses have you been hanging out with?? My mother is a nurse and many of my family members are and I haven't heard of that. It's also incredibly uncommon for nurses to go to medical school.

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

CNA's are not nurses, they are nurses assistants and only take a what is usually a 16 week or less program.

Is she just an RN? Then she has no prescribing powers anyway.

I'm okay with them praying for all the ladies who are having abortions if it means they're not out there harassing people. We should encourage them to pray. We should also mention Matthew 6:5 when we encourage them— that's the verse about how if you pray in public, you don't get any reward from god.

Someone should invent a counter-protest league of volunteers who go to some of the worst places and set up a supportive barrier between patients and protesters while shouting words of encouragement like "We respect your decision" and "You are not alone". Or to just actively engage in the protesters to distract them
