Government action will always be necessary to protect those too weak and/or stupid to protect themselves. Our society will never stop producing such people, and allowing them to be preyed upon simply to avoid government action is a terrible plan.

Glad you got out of there. It’s unfortunate that we can’t all band together and just refuse to do jobs like that. If every human declined to work for a payday loan store, they would cease to exist.

First of all, WhinyBruce, I’ve never done business with RAC. Take a hike with all this “you, you, you” shit.

I was a Sling TV customer for a long time, but recently switched to PlayStation Vue. It’s incredible. Much better channel selection, better picture quality, better user interface, DVR, multiple users, multiple simultaneous streams. The list goes on. Highly recommended.

My bank does. The problem is, you need decent credit to get a loan from a bank. People who use payday loans usually don’t have stellar financial / credit history. They have no other choice. That’s why payday loan sharks can charge insane interest rates that put people in a circle of debt.

It’s sickening that a predatory company like this is even allowed to exist. RAC’s business model, like payday loan brokers, should be illegal.

I’d buy an Apple Watch 2 for $200. At $400, it doesn’t offer enough functionality IMO.

That would be a great analogy if we were talking about a third-world country attacking our gasoline infrastructure, but we’re not. Whoever is responsible for today’s DDoS attacks on a huge DNS provider is clearly very familiar with & very likely reliant on technology.

I can only assume that the United States government has the ability to perform similar - and far more devastating - attacks against aggressors across the globe. I hope we investigate thoroughly, definitively identify the perpetrator, and retaliate with a vengeance.

I haven’t measured exactly, but the 2.4 GHz band definitely exceeds 100' in my experience. It also has great vertical range. I live on the third floor of my apartment complex, and I now get pretty strong WiFi in the first floor lobby. My old TP-Link router couldn’t supply a connection even on the second floor.

Came here just for this. Thanks! Couldn’t figure out why I was unable to access the web, but it seems to be only certain sites.

Haha, yeah...the bar has been set pretty low by a lifetime of having to reset my router 2 or 3 times a week. 3 weeks without a single reset is incredible.

Sadly, I do not believe my American Express card offers price protection. I was thinking about buying one at this discounted price and returning the more expensive one, but Amazon’s been good to me...I’ll let this one slide.

Haha. That is genius.

Genius!

Good man.

Damn. I just paid $130 for this a few weeks ago. Regardless, it’s the best router I’ve ever owned. Insane WiFi range, and I haven’t had to reset it a single time in 20 days. Highly recommended.

Right? That shit can’t taste good. I doubt bro junk skin tastes good either, but still...

My Dad used to call us ‘shit birds’ when we were kids. <3 Bone.
