I agree. I don’t want to converse with my phone’s AI. I’ll take an accurate one-word answer over a conversation any day. Hell, I’d settle for AI that could handle simple shit.
Google Assistant might suck, but it’s still vastly superior to Siri. As a relatively new iPhone user, the only thing I miss about Android is the “OK Google” AI. Siri is God awful in comparison, especially for navigation. I’m so tired of hearing “I couldn’t find X”, when Google finds X just fine.
Looks like Twitter revoked his privilege to be on the civilized part of town.
For years I used Nexus devices exclusively. I bought my first iPhone in 2014, but continue to use Android for work (currently have a Galaxy S6). They’ve both got their strengths, but the iPhone is the clear winner. Android just feels unfinished to me, especially with TouchWiz installed over top of it. Third party…
This. I’ve had one in my house for 15 years - in plain site on a bookshelf - and no one’s ever noticed it.

This is exactly what I do. It’s worked well for me.
I see where you’re coming from, but the AirPods are honestly a horribly flawed product. There is absolutely nothing stopping them from falling out of your ears. It is inevitable. It’s not necessarily Apple’s responsibility if people lose them, but they should have designed them to prevent loss in the first place.
Helping customers by allowing them to stream music endlessly without hitting their data caps seems pretty well intentioned to me. Not sure how you could argue they’re being greedy or malicious by allowing customers to avoid paying overages...
Interesting. You’d think all the courage they showed in ditching the headphone jack would have resulted in flawless Bluetooth performance.
I absolutely love Saddleback Leather products, but their recent price hikes are hard to swallow, even for a die-hard fan. The large front pocket briefcase I had a hard time spending $600 on is now $860. That’s nutty.

It speaks volumes that conservatives elected this guy to be their presidential candidate. Hillary was being generous when she referred to them as ‘deplorables’.
I literally just bought the Archer C7 on Amazon last night. It arrives tomorrow. Hopefully I’m not missing much by not waiting for this deal.

This doesn’t seem to work for me. Is there a setting that needs to be enabled?

I’ll definitely buy one next year, when they waterproof it. Hard to believe they missed the boat on that one.

It’s always blown my mind how “unAmerican” is linked to intelligent processes. As if “The American Way” is automatically the worst imaginable way, and we somehow prefer it over reasonable alternatives.
After living with the iPhone 7 Plus for a week, I would argue this iPhone is indeed the biggest / best revision thus far, at least as far as internals go. I actually dig the new home button. The battery life is stellar. The camera is truly incredible, even when compared to last year’s.
The $185m fine levied against Wells Fargo seems way, way too low. Doesn’t it? Punitive damages for this type of thing should be proportional to the business’ net worth.
