It wasn't just the ending that was bad. Don't get me wrong, if it didn't have "Mass Effect" in the title it would be a totally awesome, very playable and enjoyable game, its just that the whole story part of the game feels like they fired all the previous writers and brought in a bunch of 'hollywood' types.
