That was my first thought as well.

I completely ignored the drinking comments and focused on the Funfetti (Rainbow Chip) frosting comments. Good on you, Channing for spreading the word!
I have never watched or attended a NASCAR race, but apparently they only have a few major races a year and one of them is held at the Michigan (something) Speedway in Brooklyn, MI. There are a lot of people in my state who take an inordinate amount of pride in this.
As a Michigan resident, I am not entirely sure that the popularity of Brooklyn here isn't due to the strong NASCAR nation presence. Sad, but true.
Card counting is not illegal but casinos are private businesses and have the right to ban people for breaking the casino's rules. For him to be banned, it means he is good at it and either obvious or been doing it for long enough the casinos can't take the hit any longer.
I am sorry, when I responded to you I read a comment that used a condescending "of course no one on here wants to use facts" against someone with a valid argument. In the new Kinja flow it looked like it was yours. If it was not, I do apologize.
First, you idiot, if you had read the title of AAUW's study, 7% is the difference women make compared to their male counterparts ONE YEAR AFTER GRADUATION. Good luck if you are in business management where it jumps to a 14% difference (for equal educational background and hours worked)
Totally agree about the cans of soup (seriously so pointless), but I also have to ask who only eats 100 calories for a meal?
Penny Dreadful and Game of Throne will dovetail and make Sunday nights too much for me to handle. Can't wait!
Just think of all the make-up it would take to age Lady Mary and Lady Edith in their 60s for WWII. Might break itv's budget.
Reply to me tomorrow morning and share!
I was kind of looking forward to seeing Edith in the '30s, covering the socio-economic changes in England, but other than that— eh. After the second season, I had fears they would drag it out to WWII. This seems to offer hope they will end with this generation of Grantham ladies settling into their lives eventually…
Hogfather FTW!
Don't forget she dumped Vampire Eric Northman (or Alexander Skarsgard IRL) for the dude she ended up marrying. Makes me care even less about her wedding to Other Dude.
I'm there with you. People can complain about showrunners or companions, but the truth is we will always care about the character and that is why each regeneration of the Doctor never fails to get me.
They really should have included Matt Smith's Doctor (11 or 13 or whatever Moffat has made him) since we know his last episode is on Christmas. Yes, I am a geek, but I will miss him a lot more than We Are Men and some of the awful shows that somehow made the reel.
All the police departments I know are required to take anyone in custody who has medical issues to the local ER (in cuffs and under watch, obviously) so they don't get sued. The idea a department would just assume a person is lying about a medical condition to protect themselves from a law suit is pretty ass…
I have a card I have carried around for 18 years (since I was diagnosed Type 1 when I was 16) that reads, "I am not intoxicated, I am diabetic. If I am unconscious..." then lists all the medical treatment that should be given.
I am not a huge fans of remakes (as in I usually hate them), but I would totally get behind the remake you envision.
