Covering his ass so belatedly it is pathetic.

I was going to post a similar sentiment, but you said it perfectly and with an appropriate Batman analogy. So, I will just add I hope Anonymous can succeed in giving them half the hell those boys have given those two girls (I mean f*&$ing burning her house down...).

I am a lapsed Catholic myself and was scared off all religion for a while. I have been trying out my local Episcopal church. Very open mind, very friendly. I liked the UUs as well, but the Episcopalians were a nice blend of traditional feel with modern thinking.

I love that she is the only one in the office who is not a serial monogamous. She is the only one who really isn't small town. Tom is a great character but his entire coolness is all stolen from pop culture- and I love him. But Donna is her own person and does it with so much style.

When I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 16, Diet Dr. Pepper was a lifesaver! It was the easiest diet pop (yup, I'm Mid-West) to transition to and was something sweet I could still enjoy. For that, it will have my eternal love and gratitude... and my metabolism.

When I told my friend on Sunday after we saw Pacific Rim that Grown Ups 2 beat it out at the box office, he summed it up perfectly- "This is why we [America] can't have nice things."

And I edited when I saw your edit. Why can't we just delete comments and end this vicious cycle? Oh, Kinja...

Easy mistake to make.

I was going to like your post for your points about Ann Arbor, but the need to go after MSU took away the love I had for your post.

I grew up in northern lower Michigan (I'm pointing to my pinkie, ya'll) and Spartan stores were our only option for a long time. Then Meijer joined the fray. Never realized we were so poor up here. Interesting. Even with all the press we have been getting as "foodies" up here these days, still no WF. Good on you,

I took the "...and I'm still not ginger." as a bit of disappointment, but I can see how it would have been lumped with his relief at not being a girl, too. Good point.

I am not sure two amazing things like that can be joined in our universe without repercussions, but I would love to see it!

When Smith's Doctor regenerated he was just hoping to be a ginger. Edgy. I would be equally happy if the Doctor simply wasn't white. (Richard Ayoade anyone?) Seriously though, I think it is almost necessary after the sloppy Martha/Mickey ending.

It is not cynical, it is practical. There are waitresses and other people in service I would love nothing more than to give money so they can take the much needed (and well deserved) dream vacation, but I don't have the money. The best I can do is give them a couple more dollars on their tip than I would normally

It's called disposable income. I wish I had more of it as well.

I live in MI and have to say that is my experience as well. Also, it is this time of year people who were couples over the winter break up and the dating pool is exciting until the weather gets cold and people begin to layer and pair off again.

I thought the same thing! Don't get me wrong- the concept is great, but no one in that pic has the spare tire I would be rockin'.

Max on Happy Endings was my first thought, too. Another reason the show should be saved.

I am surprised that Jezebel did not even scratch the surface with this case. Yeah, she was a model. She also had a law degree and campaigned for action to combat violence against women.

Jelly is for the weak. Plain custard and chocolate long john out ranks Maple and certainly Boston creams and cherry fritters trump apple. The end.
