I’d be a bit lenient if they actually owned up to their mistake instead of going to the NHTSA to claim a “Unintended Acceleration” event.
Toyota won’t face another unintended acceleration probe. Yet. Today. So far.
I call it “The Market Leadership Tax”. When you have so many owners, you end up with a correspondingly large number of idiots in your owner base.
People like the Ms. Ruginis would still have these issues.
Roll-out rub. From where a lazy driver rolls out of the seat by leaning over first.
That’s not the correct Viggen body kit, or Viggen wheels (though the Viggen wheels were pretty weak and prone to bending if you hit a pot hole). Also missing is the Viggen badging near the side signal markers, and the Viggen emblem on the shifter. The only Viggen parts I do see on it are the rear spoiler (which you…
You had the car for a week, I’ve had an FR-S for 3 years. This review is so spot-on to the point I’m wondering if you did a mind-meld. It’s nice to see someone else gets it. I do think part of the sales slide is due to the fact that the car is probably hard for the non-enthusiast to live with. While the Miata suffers…
As an owner, I can say this: “The BRZ isn’t the sports car you want, it’s the sports car you deserve.” I use it for track days and am not sure I really want 300-400hp in a car before I really know what I’m doing. On the street, that extra power would be useless anyway. I’ll take the 30+mpg in a great handling car…
I’ve driven a friend’s BRZ and I have no idea why anybody would complain about power delivery in these cars. Are they off-the-hook-tire-smoking-speed-demons? No, but neither is an A4, which weighs 1,000 lbs more and only has 20 more horsepower. I don’t hear anybody complaining about them being underpowered, or any of…
The fact that your average mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging, noun-adverb “enthusiast” doesn’t appreciate this car only helps me love mine more.
reminds me of a review I read about the LAnd Rover LR4. Because the company switched from a V8 base (in the US) to the supercharged V6 the review was less than positive because it was slower to 60 by 2 tenths...now only 6.7 second. um...excuse me? this is a disappointment somehow, that a 3 ton off road focused machine…
Turn off your fucking wipers.
Stories like this give me small glimmers of happiness about living in the Midwest.
There is no wrong answer as to which oil to use. Unless of course you disagree with me.
On second thought, Manhattan is a silly place. Let’s not go there.
I hate puzzle games. I’d really rather argue over motor oil brands.
Lots of craft breweries!!!
And Huntsville? We have nice things...I promise!
Agreed. Grew up on the west coast, went to school in the rockies, lived in Alabama, now live in the Midwest. Loooooooooooooooved Alabama.
