I have a similar connection to one of the Mighigan plaintiffs (the one who won her case, sadly). Now that she’s a full-grown adult with her own opinions and political views, she’s incredibly proud to be associated with the case. I came across her Facebook page one day, and she was commemorating the anniversary and

The tunes are SO good.

My husband liked it, too. Very early in our relationship, I called him, and he was alone watching In Her Shoes, that one with the delightful cast including Toni Collette, Cameron Diaz, and Shirly McClaine. It totally intrigued me that he liked the movie and even more that he would admit it. If it’s accepted that I

Whoops - sorry for the empty post; i’m feeding my totally planned baby.

This made me cry. Unlike many Jezzies, I loved high school. I was class president all the way through and loved my class council (weirdos, the lot of us) AND our awesome sponsor, who is still a friend.

I’m from a fairly small, very conservative, very homogeneous town in suburban Michigan. I went back for the Homecoming parade last fall (my daughter rode in it with my dad, who was in it), and I was thrilled to see my old high school has a GSA now.

My mom got me the Le Creuset pie bird funnel, not for my wedding, but just because she loves me and thought I would like it. I do like it. It sits on my kitchen window sill and cheerfully greets me each morning. I also bake scratch pies, but the bird has yet to join me in this endeavor. May you enjoy your wedding,

If you're still open to loving him, you should read his first memoir, "Stories I only tell my friends."

Seconded. In case you're looking for water alternatives (flavored things go down easier for me, though I'm doing better with the water this time around), I like plain soda water with juice, about 2 parts to one. Tart juices are best, like pineapple, cherry, or cran variations. Congrats!

Oh, mother of all that is deliciously silly, I am pregnant with a baby to be named Kenny, and I am now absolutely giving him the middle name "Yadiggit." You are my hero.

I'm with you, friend. Pregnant Parenthood watching practically leaves me dehydrated.

Did any other Mandy lovers see "Because I Said So"? I adored this movie. It was cheesy as hell, but the cast was superb, and Mandy and Gabriel Macht were fan-freaking-tastic together!

Ooh, look him up! He is adorable and was superb in The West Wing as well as Out of Sight, both with Mary McCormick.

Congratulations on the new passport; I have to think that feels great!

"The smallest one was Madeline. She was not afraid of mice; she loved the winter snow and ice. And to the tiger in the zoo, Madeline just said, 'Poo poo.'"

Me, too, friend. I was stunned, STUNNED to realize my two year old doesn't have these books yet. I ordered the original immediately upon reading this post. Madeline is simply the best.

Nailed it.

That's funny; I'm the exact opposite. My wedding vows actually began with "I thought all I needed was a smart guy who likes football...."

I loved Bunheads. Not as much as GG, but I was so bummed it didn't make it. I think they had some issues that might have worked themselves out in later seasons (I wasn't a fan of Michelle's dream sequences, a few of the townspeople were grating - they would have mellowed those charicatures a bit). Sad.

Oops, the hometown part was something another commenter said; I thought it was you.
