If I wanted Rush bashing, I would have stayed with mainstream media decades ago. And frankly, I'm a bit disappointed in the dismissive reaction towards a longtime contributor like yourself.

BoomBoomBalloon Rocks!
I saw the same thing in that big Indiana mess last week(?) they were five wide. WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot, Over?
And it's not like some of those things couldn't be re-purposed for the non winter months.
Hi, welcome to the Internet stranger! http://www.fark.com/topic/florida
My wife's friend in ATL left work at noon to pick up her son from daycare 17 miles away. It has taken her NINE hours to get there. Car's out of gas, phone's dead, sleeping at the daycare tonight.
I fly often enough to say that the worst part of the experience rarely involves the plane. Granted, I'm not going cross country every day, but between the massive quality difference in connecting airports, chain-only food sources, always being surrounded by strangers, to the unknown delays due to the latest TSA…
GM LS/GenIII+ for all the reasons already mentioned and this thought... Does anyone really think they just "fit" in all those other applications, or did the other engineers quietly build their cars' chassis to fit SBCs?
LS1 was introduced in the C5 Vette. In 1997. That would be 17 years old. Beyond packaging requirements, there are is little similarity to the Gen I and certainly not to Gen II.
Or a higher trim level debuting in 1971 and continuing as a Silverado style through the 90s....
It's not fair; the Silverado is so hideous to look at, it decides self-immolation is the only avenue. Seriously, can we get a new grill asap for that thing? It looks like a mouth full of metal.
I miss breaking the rear loose at like... 40mph.
If my wife wouldn't kill me over it, I'd have a rare white whale of a 94-95 1A2 police wagon by now. As much as I loved my first white 95, white 96, and dark cherry maroon/rust 95 9c1s, having extra seats and massive cargo room would have been awesome.
More specifically the Caprice can also directly trace its lineage back to the Tri-5 Bel Airs.
While those Firehawk's are crazy expensive, that's not always the case with the original police spec'd tires. They're usually a different spec than the non-police version, but usually just marginally more expensive. One thing they seem to have in common with non-police vehicles is that the OEM chosen tires are usually…
An OEM used M+S on H/V speed ratings with only one size listed (and a fairly narrow and short one at that) makes me think that it was developed specifically for Crown Vics. Probably some Ford specific arrangement with Firestone.
I feel it is my diety-provided right to see a web video series of Torch driving Wert around as a cabbie. Like that's all the show is, just Jason fighting Manhattan traffic, trying to get Ray somewhere while the two chatter away about esoteric cars and industry news. And maybe every now and then they can like, pick up…
I was just having a similar discussion with relatives who transplanted to NW Arkansas. Of course, to pay for say, salt or sand and the trucks to deliver them, that would require...taxes and go-mint employees. And we can't have that, now can we?
