Maybe I missed something in the video, but what I'm not seeing is how/where this would integrate with a current vehicle. The "mag-drive" portion could use its own hardware to sense rotational speed and stop driving after a certain RPM, but how would you integrate this with the existing IC drivetrain? Is the idea that

Simple: Honda should become the "turbo" company. It's their last hope.

That would certainly make it an attractive financial proposition. I haven't watched the video yet, but for say, someone who continuously upgrades a work truck, or a van, etc. where the manufacturer is using the same axle hardware, etc. it might be easy enough to switch over. Contractor fleets could see major savings

What's kind of funny is that one of his "business partners" took their LinkedIn profile down. Nobody does that! Looks like he's looking for some distance...

"stocky, 5'4" man in a very tight shirt" just makes me think he has LittleManSyndrome.

While I don't disagree with obvious choices like M5s or Z06s, neither of which I would kick out of the garage... but what's more Jalop than a mid engined El Camino?

That would certainly qualify as the MOST metal/weight you could get for $20k...

I don't agree with the hospital's choice, but I think they definitely were put in a position to make a choice about Lenny's visit. To the extent that my wife and I have protected our son from the news and its connection to a movie that I saw on opening night, about a character I've loved since I was my son's age and

I was thinking the same thing. As much as I hate NY, we'd likely have full shoulders on either side, guard rails protecting opposing/oncoming vehicles from a crash that would be the equivalent of 140mph to 0 into a brick wall, and we'd have a 1/4 mile of orange leading up to that thing. Maybe it's all our lawyers's

I have to rule out STS/Seville, based on the rear pillar difference. Also, the trunk overhang would be much longer.

@ARAK the American I hope For Sweden is a decent pugHilist. Ole Pughie's got some unchecked aggression he needs an outlet for—maybe someone told him not to use a media outlet anymore.

I saw LawnGuyLand and wasn't surprised after that...

I like the format as it looks like it will provide a uniformity that will still provide enough flexibility for typical Jalop humor and references.

You make an interesting argument here—if the F1 was about being a no compromise supercar, then perhaps the MP is about how to make a supercar with compromises included. 20 years after the F1 came alive, the competition has created some amazing supercars, but perhaps McLaren is finding that while those machines have

I only learned about it when someone mentioned it on the QOTD and I've fallen deeply, madly in love with the site. The fun part is that there isn't much of the boring/beige variety. Great time killer!

CP: At first I thought, that's awesome—a body on frame cop car with a V10, that rocks! But then I realized the appeal of it is only because it's an increase in power over the Clown Vic's normally anemic 4.6. Credit where it's due though, it looks decently done. I just don't know how much appeal there is in the final

I'm not a new car tester in real life or on tv, but I do play one when I go to the rental counter when I travel, which can be often.

As the government is not a biz seeking to make a profit, they may just be looking to recoup their variable costs associated with the incident.

I respectfully agree and disagree... the 917 and GT40s are much more iconic, if only because those cars are so...different.

I didn't even finish reading the headline and had thought the same thing1
