How is it better? (I'm not trying to argue, I'm just genuinely interested in the difference)

RAW! Yes! Please! Would be great if we got that as standard in compact cameras too.

Why the heck would you pay $2 for this? I'm sure the painted pictures are lovely, but if I got sent something like this, I'd be kind of miffed. Even a message on fb or sending an sms feels a lot more earnest and personal than this.

I have to agree with most of this. When I saw the film (3D HFR), I was sitting there incredibly aware that I was looking at actors and props instead of getting immersed in the story. I remember thinking at the time that makeup and costumes, etc would have to improve a lot more before 48fps became an acceptable

A lot of people are using laptops as their main computer(s) these days, so I don't really see that as an issue. But, if you must: http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/15/logitech-k810-illuminated-keyboard-windows-8/

Not liking the cylindrical design, it kind of looks out-of-place. I'd prefer mine to be rectangle.

What if you wanted to send it to someone that you couldn't deliver it to? A lot easier and cheaper to have it giftwrapped and sent to them straightaway instead of having it sent to you, wrapping it, and then sending it to them.

Thiiinnnkkkk about itt......

Is SMS really that much of a problem? It's pretty much the cheapest thing you can do with your phone here. Heaps of prepaid plans available to those not already on contracts (us$8.20-$9.90 for >2500 a month, depending on the carrier). Some is just given to you free when you top up your prepaid phone. On 2degrees, it's

It's not on hinges or anything, so I think you have to bend it to get it open like that, so it'll stay open.

Agreed. I personally wouldn't class this as a "word in the English language".

It tells you in the article.

This works better as random bit of art/decoration than a shelf. Those things look all crammed up like they don't want to be there. Makes me think someone ran out of shelf room and just starting putting their crap wherever it would fit. Or nearly fit.

I suggest PicsArt. I haven't used Afterglow, but from what I see here, PicsArt does the same thing... as well as being able to make collages, add text and stickers/stamps, glowy patterns, bokeh effects and lets you draw all over a photo (or on a blank canvas). You can set the opacity for pretty much anything and some

Why would you wear pants if you didn't have to?

Pros:

This looks great, but I have to wonder if dampness would be a problem, seeing as it's right next to a pond, and window locations seem limited.

I feel like a lot more people should be more concerned with the "no brakes" part rather than the structural integrity.

Wouldn't it get ads plastered on it anyway? Better to have relevant ads than, say, viagra.

Isn't the point of folding chairs to sacrifice sturdiness (and usually aesthetics) so you can tuck them away in a small space when they're not being used? This chair manages to look hideous and slightly fragile while still being bulky and a pain to store. Even the AT-AT factor isn't much of a factor. You notice it
