Slight spoilers for anyone who has not seen the Christmas episode:

Sudeikis might have been lip-syncing, but I have no doubt that West End vet Waddingham was actually singing. (And, indeed, that the whole point of the scene, much like the karaoke scene from last season, was to show off Waddingham’s voice.)

I admit that literal Santa flying by was a bit too twee for me, but I was on board up to that point, and I don’t really understand why this episode would suddenly turn you against the show if you were already a fan. As was mentioned in the review comments, it’s much more of a Christmas special rather than a

Your approach there is excellent. Many years ago, while in college, I worked for a screen printing company. This huge order comes in from Home Depot and management just expects everyone to put in anywhere from 3 to 5 hours overtime every day for two months to meet the deadline given to Home Depot.

This is what happens when we continually attack Unions and strip the workforce of its protections that had been so prevalent decades ago. Without collective bargaining a company is going to exploit the worker as much as they can and let you burn out.

While I imagine you weren’t going to veer in this direction, this reminds me of people complaining that people wouldn’t want to work because unemployment offers too much money. That sounds like less of a problem than the fact that people need to get paid far more for what they do across the board.

This is all a real shitshow. Isn’t it time that notorious misogynist Bobby Kotick left too? The lawsuit is hardly about only Blizzard, and someone actually at the top ought to take the hit for letting this all continue.

Their product lineup is arguably in the worst state it’s ever been in, the state of California is against them, the public is against them, their employees are against them, and now their investors are against them.

In the video she asks the question, people in the crowd cheer and the men on the panel looks chastened. Then men in the audience start booing loudly and you can see the panel become emboldened to start openly making fun of her. There is a lessen here about the fact that the misogyny in the game industry is reinforced

Blizzard is building up a track record for abusing human rights.

Unfortunately “human rights” aren’t a concept we instill as being a thing that should be universal.

Call me crazy but maybe it’s time we start electing the politicians that say “healthcare is a human right” instead of the politicians that tell us Medicare For All is pie in the sky.

Yeach, stay away from the series if you thought BL2's writing was bad, since it was probably the best the writing got. This is not to knock the game; I also think the writing is pretty phenomenal across the board in BL2. When you can portray someone’s grief and pain welling up inside them when they thought they’d

Interesting. Everyone has an opinion, but man, I completely disagree with yours. Lol.

From what I can tell, Discord is just a specialized chat room, right? How does that even remotely replace a forum?

As far as I can tell this is a the crux of why there are so many angry male voices out there that have suddenly become puritans. It’s not that they’ve suddenly deemed something offensive. It’s because a women is finding success and owning their sexuality while being a part of a niche market.

This loop of “women showing up in outwardly male dominated areas and financially succeeding which makes men get super fuckin’ butt-hurt” is just literally never going to end, is it? We’re just destined to do this forever, aren’t we?

Lengyel should be banned for his bullshit long before “women in swimwear” mysteriously becomes a bannable offence.

The fact that toxic fuck xQc is so popular even after being kicked off of his pro Overwatch team for being racist really doesn’t speak well for humanity.

Hopefully one that just hires all the Blizzard devs and leaves Activision with all the IP it’s gonna run into the ground anyway but without wasting the time of good talent.
