I just can’t get over the idea that the average streamer is expected to be on air for 8 hours a day. Not even old radio DJs or news show people ever did anything that long.

Gonna be honest. As a simple and sometimes pathetically empathetic person, I dig what she had to say. Even IF the commenter didn’t deserve to hear that (he did), there are a whooooooooooole lot of other peeps that absolutely need to hear what she had to say.

It is so stupid to continue using the faces of real people for emotes. This is a dumb tradition from the early day of Twitch. It trains the audience to treat people as commodities rather than human beings.

This has kind of been the basis of my argument for a while now. For the most part, the Left, such as it is, tries to go with the moral high ground, making arguments and statements in good faith and then getting kicked in the teeth anyway. Meanwhile, the Right, such as it is, repeatedly and without fail does everything…

I think that’s also endemic of (a) “fair and balanced” journalism still (mistakenly) means that you need to give every side of an argument equal representation no matter how insignificant their minority might be or if they’re acting in bad faith, and (b) outrageous stories get eyes on your product and clicks on…

I don’t know - it feels like one of the major problems we have (beyond Tech companies only doing the right thing when it’s safe or financially advantageous, even not enforcing their own policies to do so) is that there is a huge epidemic of bad-faith argumentation on the Right that we don’t treat as bad faith.

I hate roguelikes and I absolutely love Hades. Pick it up - you won’t be sorry! Sunk so many hours into it without it ever feeling repetitive.

I really hate rogue likes also, but a good friend if mine insisted I try it, and I had a chance to pick it up for super cheap so I went ahead and did it.

You’d have to drastically change ME1 to actually make it play well, I suspect we’ll get a facelift and just tough it out tbh its not the worst game you can play its just old and shows it.

Good management ability should be rewarded. If anything, that would send symbolic signals that hopefully will shift the culture of game development. Hearing how Hades was developed made me want to play the game more, and that is something we should promote.
