Well I've pretty much spoiled the story for myself so I think I'm going to pass. Plus, man oh man Heavy Rain had some pretty cringe inducing acting and writing. My hat is off to them for trying to tell a dramatic, mature story, (god knows we need more of them in video games), but it mostly came across as a little too

Heh, to be honest I never started it. I watched the whole thing on youtube. Hey-o!

I believe they've said both games where running on high end PC's which is definitely easy to believe.

I wasn't very familiar with Indigo Prophecy so I suppose I wasn't sure what to expect, but I get your meaning.

NEXT GEN WISH LIST:

Speaking of which I wonder if next gen consoles and high end PC's will finally allow character models to take their hats of and put them back on in real time. I'm kinda joking but also serious. With the next gen consoles I'd like to see little touch's like that addressed, hair that looks and moves like hair, cloths

Good point. Maybe there is hope for it after all.

I've got to think Agent is also shit canned or possibly a next gen title now.

I hear yeah, but this demo was merely a vertical slice. Who's to say the finished product will look as good as the demo? Lord knows we've seen some great looking demos that turn out to be ugly and/or glitchy games.

Heh, thanks.

Well thank you, thank you.

Does my time at the beach count?

You're definitely right about the wind. That DID get my immediate attention. It was a nice touch. Also a nice touch? When the main character in Watch Dogs would put his hands in his pockets. It's a small, simple detail but it really added a sense of realism that I appreciated.

"whether the Wii U could handle it remains an open question"

I thought Watch Dogs' visuals were impressive not next gen impressive. I'm a bit surprised peoples first thoughts were that it was a next gen game. Star Wars on the other hand...there's just no doubt about it, that's a PS4, Xbox 720 game.

Ha!

I can't think of anything I'll be picking up this holiday season. That's probably for the best. I need to save a little money.

I wonder if Scribblenauts Unlimited recognizes the words, "blog view" better that Kotaku.
