Seriously. Gears 3 still feels like a very new game to me. If I want more Gears I'll just play Gears 3.

This game feels less like a labor of love and more like something to occupy our time before the next gen consoles come out. The same goes for the next God of War game. It's like the devs are saying, "well you didn't ask for this game this soon but we have to do SOMETHING to fill up the hole on the release calendar."
It seems odd that press conference featuring brand spankin' new hardware would come across as so...lacking.
Did Nintendo just underwhelm the world? I admit that I'm not a Nintendo fan but I was intrigued by the Wii U. Well intrigued no more. Nintendo fans, how did you feel about the show?
Wow...Hot...Inventory...Action...
Internet Explorer! Internet! Fucking! Explorer! Hahahahaha!Microsoft actually talked about Internet Explorer in 2012! Amazing! Do younger viewers even know what that is?
Yeah I thought Assassin's Creed was a good "get" for Vita and expected that other great looking titles were also going to be announced/demoed but...nope that didn't happen.
So did we just witness the Vita's last meal? It sorta feels like we'll be witnessing it's slow motion death over the next year or so.
Oh damn! I forgot about 1313. That game looks breath taking. My take away was, "damn! so THAT'S what games are going to like on next gen consoles, (or current high end consoles), I can't wait!
Well I thought it was bad but not any worse than I thought it would be. In that regard I am a little surprised to see many outlets deeming it the worst conference in history. That dubious honor is still held by Nintendo from a few years back.
HIGHLIGHTS SO FAR:
Oh man the Internet Explorer announcement was a little like your local shopping mall announcing that they're getting a Sbarro!
REVEALED!!!! The real inspiration for Ellen Pages friend from Beyond!
Eh Ironside's been phoning it in lately anyway. It's probably time for a change. FLAME ON!
Nah, not really. The devs are just taking a little creative license with the facts.
I just hope there's more actual playing this time around. If it's going to be another "watch this cut scene and occasionally tap a button"situation than count me out.
Heh. When they said "panic spread throughout New York State", my thought was "panic? More like barbequing and drinking."
Heh. I'll allow it.
Heh. I was just making a dumb joke about using Kinect in relation to the topless woman in the trailer.
Did I miss anything? I nodded off during that sniper section.
