God, I wish consumption was as archaic as it's perceived. I'll never get those six months sober months back.

The sight of hirsute men crying is still triggering for me.

I've never had cyst issues before but I recently went through the most painful cramps I ever imagined, like throwing up and everything. I was convinced it was a low pain tolerance but by that point I couldn't even think straight so I went to the ER and they did the ultrasound (fortunately) and I have a couple cysts.

Link, please? I can't see that article. Also, as a Torontonian who is not a Leafs fan, I feel much the same about Leafs fans. Though Canucks fans are very much on notice, because fuck Vancouver.

Damn it, you can't post this shit when I'm already PMSing!

I am the same as you, totally cool with legal hunting but could never do it. Always makes me think of this scene from New Girl:

Seriously, the more the merrier. It's right there! In the idiom! Two whole months of wondrous Christmas decor and music and planning and scents and alcoholic beverages? WHO WOULDN'T LOVE THAT?

I was really angry, cold, and drunk. Which may shed light on how NPR segments are born.

I walked home 45 minutes in the sleet on Friday night because Hailo just left my city and Uber wanted to charge me triple the regular fare. I assumed I could catch a bus walking 40 minutes along the same major thoroughfare and made it home without a glimpse of one.

I hate Don Cherry so much and this is so perfect. All it's missing is calling Gilmour a good, wholesome Canadian boy and a not-so-veiled reference to Ghomeshi's heritage.

They're too baffled as to why she keeps pouring stuff on pictures of celebrity fashion.

*dies*

For me, the answer is because Neil Gaiman. I actively avoid any mention of her in an attempt to keep him untainted.

That says more about you than anything else, really.

I wasn't going to humour you, but this is so blatantly racist and narrow minded I had to comment. The kid was Canadian, with one parent of North African descent, raised primarily by his French Canadian mother. Stop one-drop ruling him, dumbass. He was as white as he was Berber.

Disappointed that Winnipeg, of all places, didn't do a bilingual anthem.

My 30-yr-old Korean buddy got stopped in the street and asked for his autograph because the dude thought he was Jet Li. Sigh.

I always love when they do the bilingual anthem, but to have three stadiums singing it at the same time is incredibly moving in its own right.

Who loves Canada the most? Who loves Canada the least? Why is Vancouver the worst Canadian city?
