@Jekku: Metroid Prime's music was always so incredibly creepy for me. This track especially, and a few others (the music for the first part of the game on the spaceship, certain sandy areas near where you land, etc).

I definitely like the Japanese art style better. I never really liked the thick black lines of Western comic book style art, not to mention the coloring in the Japanese version just seems more... subtle.
