I used to do QA and one game we were running crunch on we’d test for about 16-18 hours in a day. I remember one night when I went home I dreamt about the game in such detail that I was also fully running the NPC AI in my head exactly how they would act in the game. So much so that I found an as-yet unfound AI issue

The console and controllers look amazing, but I dunno. Something about having modified the cartridges too just feels wrong. Not sure why.

5% beating it in under 30 minutes isn’t quite true, since the achievement is for beating it in 25 runs (of one minute each), however there’s a character you can unlock that doesn’t have a timer on them so you can play as long as you want. At that point, the only required resets are for resetting the world for events

Yep, and the 3 has Baron. If you look at the screen above though, the 2 has Werewolf. Which is not a Priest. Also, does that mean the deck comes with a bunch of 1s for no other reason than to play Love Letter?

Err, how does it play Love Letter? Or at least, any better than any other random deck of cards? The character effects aren’t written, the character names aren’t written, so it’s pretty much just numbers then. Which a standard deck can do (with some substitutions for multiple Guards, but it looks like this deck would

Probably truckloads of money, to be honest. Metro historically has done a few hundred thousand units lifetime, so if Epic offers something like a 0-5% take instead of a 30% take from Valve, that’s a lot of incentive for a yearlong exclusive.

Well, thanks to Mineralblu as well then. I know previous Mineralblu posts didn’t have that information either, so either way, it’s a definite improvement.

Coming from a few months back where I complained specifically about not having listed who is being cosplayed by whom, THANK YOU. It is VERY much appreciated!

That’s what happens when you lose track of your Soul Banish...

17 months in for this thread, still agree! I always read comments on articles, and it sucks knowing that the comments for these types only apply to the original article. At this point, any new comments will be buried by the old popular ones and will never be seen.

My biggest gripe about the game is its lack of customization in certain areas. Which, to be fair, is pretty minor but still very annoying given how *much* work they’ve done in other QoL areas.

The only thing I vaguely remember about this movie (that I did see in the theaters) is one scene:

If there was no article on it, I would have thought so. The Pro Tour icon looks so out of place on all these characters. It’s not aliased the same, is more detailed, and doesn’t conform to any of the costumes and places it has been pasted on.

Many an online game have I played where I had to ask someone in trade for their Unwed Parentage Sword or let people know I was grabbing a drink from the electric cooling unit. All because of that problem with Scunthorpe.

Behind Closed Ovens.  Man, I miss that blog.

That’s definitely the case for me. I hardly ever use it on any console I have owned, but it’s definitely a selling point for me because if I *do* want to use it, I have it. It’s why I still have a well cared for launch PS3 around, for example.

I love situations like this where the criminal makes their own evidence / confession.

The winner of Game of the Year. READ IT, BOY.

I would have assumed the GBI software instead of first party stuff given, as you say, the “normal software” is notoriously bad for any kind of real replication/fidelity. Thanks for running this down in depth despite a relatively simple question.
