This would be more amusing if I hadn’t played a game on the Commodore 64 that pretty much did just that.

“If one guy calls you a Hutt, ignore him. If a second guy calls you a Hutt, begin to wonder. If a third guy calls you a Hutt, buy a drool bucket and start stockpiling spice.” - Corran Horn

Right, I was thinking this same thing. Yes, the girl could very well just not be respecting boundaries and could be a drama queen. It’s possible, sure.

Bet it still runs in a Cygwin enviroment, even if that is a real shot... Freakin’ Cygwin.

What about things like hex editing/cheating for achievements? I know quite a few games where it isn’t difficult to do things like edit character stats so that an achievement that would take 100 hours takes 3-4. Are there witch hunts in the achievement community calling people out as possible hackers?

So I should not apply Valrave directly to forehead?

Can’t be. Herobrine was removed last patch.

Just had the same issue with my WoW account, but it was a non-issue. New phone, completely forgot to migrate my Authenticator, so I couldn’t log in. Pressed the “Can’t log in” button on the BNet site, created a ticket, attached a pic of my ID, had the Authenticator unattached in under 8 hours. Attached a new one on my

Not trying to counter your argument in any way, as much of it makes sense. But on the phone charge thing, you may either want to look into switching carriers or at Verizon’s prepaid plans. I’m on AT&T and went from a $70 a month personal phone bill to maybe 10 a month.

People have reverse engineered and memory address watched every version of Pokemon to within an inch of their lives. I’m extremely confident that people have gone over the capturing methods with a fine toothed comb and found that nothing changes on a button press.

Removed Herobrine? Heard that before. I’ll believe it when I see it.

eSports players are able to get athletic visas to visit other countries. You may not think they are athletes, but if multiple countries’ federal governments do, you may be mistaken.

Ehh, I think you overestimate the number of Kotaku readers that will be swayed by a single article. This article may net them a few thousand sales, maybe, but it’s not going to catapult them into Braid/Fez/Castle Crasher numbers.

No, they’re pretty spot on in terms of their expectations. Small scale publisher backed games look at break even around 50K units at minimum. This is an indie game from an unknown studio with no real marketing or publisher backing. It hasn’t won any awards (that I know of). 50K units is, quite frankly, higher than

How about this situation:

I’m definitely Team Wilhelm as well, but was always wondering what this particular one was called, having heard it all over. Thanks for that!

One of the things that I’ve been wondering since FFV came out and even more with FFVI: Is it possible and is anyone working on a fan patch to fix the heck out of the game, kind of like the fan patches for FFVII and (to a lesser extent) FFVIII? Seems like something fans would take into their own hands.

Maybe it was a Powerpoint of poetry presented by a Vogon?

Because quite a few of the console commands are either esoteric commands that deal with specific PC graphics settings or they’re things that could crash the game due to hardware differences if executed. Console manufacturers aren’t big on the whole “game crashes when X happens” when they’re running through their first

Tell me River is selectable. I’m totally tossing down $130 if I can run around as River Song.
