Unless something has changed in the past couple years, Best Buy workers don't work off commission. They're just in mortal fear of their jobs if they don't offer every single person simply browsing DVDs a storage rack, Netflix, a credit card application, today's streaming music solution, and a product replacement plan

Well, it’s not Trample. So at least if you have *7* creatures and one has Flying you can block it for a turn. Then die horribly the turn after.

Did that somewhat recently myself. Had to teach people what these weird “Interrupt” things are. I stayed away from any Banding creatures. I didn’t want to have to spend a 30 minute whiteboard assisted teaching session on the nuances.

Had to look up what Annihilator did. Dear lord. Annihilator *6*?!

So totally this. I actually had to have a real, surprising, conversation with a female friend of mine when she was surprised when I said that walking home the other night that a woman was following me for so long and strangely that I was worried about being mugged and/or raped. Like, I’d speed up or slow down my gait

I do definitely like the concept of it for the reasons you state. It's the execution that jars me though. And I don't think there's a way to fix that (in my own mind) without losing the whole over the topness of the whole thing. It's one part of the newer games that I simply dislike, but it's definitely not enough to

That face slash is so Equilibrium.

Why is Slippy a green elephant with a prehensile trunk?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I futzed with those files and owe quite a bit of my early PC knowledge to learning how everything in them interacts. HIMEM fo' life!

That's what I'm *still* using to this day. Works perfectly with a serial to USB adapter, even on Win8!

Too late. Thanks to the cluster that was the original release and Best Buy cancelling my legitimate (single system) pre-order, I got a standard.

The problem with Heroes of the Storm's few unabashedly weird skins like Frog Diablo isn't that they exist or warp our sense of the original character. It's that they're also disappointingly unimaginative in their own way. Frog Diablo just looks like a generic Swamp Thing that crawled out of some goopy pit. "Kaijo

It *is* at Traction Park. Even better. :)

Exactly. I'm not understanding this "too easy to pirate" thing that everyone is spouting.

Yep. Worked at Best Buy at the time and I got the same from talking with any customers there. "You really need a Dreamcast. Take a look at Soul Calibur, take a look at (online!) Phantasy Star Online. This system is amazing"

This means things like "free game" or "awesome 1/5 scale model of the lead character" or "$ worth of in-game currency". All non monetary rewards that would be a definite possibility depending on the dev and game in question.

Until the guy explained it, I didn't understand what was funny about the H1Z1 one. Then I still didn't really see it. Ahh well, can't all be winners.

That's ok, I'm even worse. I'll smile and open doors for *anyone*! I'm like... double sexist!
