Where to start? Smaller portions; larger prices; food not cooked up to expectations with very little recourse for correction (Medium rare is a thing of the past. Al dente? What the hell is that); 20% tip as a floor, not as a ceiling, with the much higher prices; alcohol prices up much higher than the food; servers…

We bought that Atlas cross as a 3.6L. It’s nothing but expensive transportation. Lousy MPG, no passing gear worth talking about and the interior is still nothing but plastic. But it was available with no dealer markup. It will serve as a placeholder until the EVs are a more mature tech.

The magic word is “equivalent”. Yesterday a Mazda 3 became a Jeep Renegade, then a Ford Focus, then a 40,000 mile+ Toyota. All these in the rental car mind was an “equivalent” car. And I had to turn down a Spark, at a reduced price,  to get to the Toyota.

I have no idea if Engine Masters is on Saturday mornings but I defy you to class that show as an infomercial. Half the time I have no idea WTF they are doing but damn they seem to know their stuff.
