Exactly what I was thinking. Final Fantasy 6 was dark...at times. The character designs were superb, and any that weren't were masked by the 2d sprites. These characters look like J-Pop kids. Sorry. This looks about as dark as an afternoon episode of That's So Raven.

FF can use to be dark, but I still see those anime-ish girly characters which completely ruins it, no matter how dark it is.

Purely a matter of time crunch, combined with not wanting to recapitulate yesterday's news. But I have a bunch of favorite Dr. Strange runs.
