Hey, at least they let you play in some capacity. It's not like SimCity, D3, or BF4, where you couldn't do ANYTHING at all.

Multiplayer really does make a huge difference. Heck, even online play is helpful. Otherwise it feels like you're just grinding.

This is exactly the sort of tie-in that has me rushing to the store (*coughs*) to pick up a game I'm pretty sure I won't like on launch day. Monster Hunter never really did it for me, but I might be willing to give it another try for the sake of this fuzzy little bastard.

I think that's what they were going for, and I totally love it.

The New 3DS seems about twice as fast wifi-wise. So glad they appear to have improved the wifi on it. I can imagine it helping with some online games now, as well.
