Man, I remember my friends made a custom level that was shaped like a box with two small holes on the top left and right. We'd play it on sudden death, and just keep bouncing around until SOMEONE finally got rocketed out. Great, great times with that game and that particular level.

I think that's a matter of timing. If he had done something original right now, I think it would have been lost in the buckets of water. If he did this afew months from now, then yes, everyone would have just looked at it and gone "Didn't we do this already?"

Hey, remember Remember Me? No, not the movie that ruined Robert Pattinson for all of us. I'm talking about the gorgeous beat-'em-up game that came out last year. It was a great cyberpunk adventure. But like many ambitious sci-fi games, it didn't always make sense.

Nintendo still takes the cake when it comes to awesome special versions of its hardware (see: every amazing 3DS), but the Wii U isn't anything special. And can you really deny that the Xbox One is a behemoth? Remember all the memes about it looking like a VCR when it first came out?
