I think the last episode was designed to break the player, emotionally. To show you that there are no right decisions and not only can you not save everyone, but sometimes... you even can't save anyone.
Almost every time I played against other people and I was about to win they would shut their system off so it wouldn't count against them. Annoying as hell.
Reading this brings a smile to even these cold lips.
