because pregnancy is a really weird physical experience. it makes you feel like you have no control over your body—things just happen and you can do nothing. it’s an experience alien to most healthy, ablebodied people.

She actually isn’t begging our pardon. She said she doesn’t feel good about her body right now. That doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with how we perceive it.

The second trimester is the best trimester. If you don’t feel good then I’ll fear for your sanity during the third (and worst) trimester.

I found out last week that I am pregnant after my partner and I spent close to a year trying to conceive. I am overjoyed, elated, excited yada yada, but TBH I already hate being pregnant. I’m hoping much of this will pass once I get to the second trimester, but I feel terrible 100% of the time.
