Sarah Palin only speaks to all white suburban and rural audiences of whom she has deemed "real" Americans; she has publically supported racial profiling in Arizona; she has been an instigator in the birther movement; she is constantly portraying Obama as the "Other" with the latest incident of the "scary black man"

Nick, you're Mom called. She wants you to tuck in that shirt; you look like a slob on national tv.

I much like you read Melissa's blog (hangs head in shame), and I'm not buying what she's selling at all. The entire entry was full of passive aggressive comments insinuating how Teresa is a bad parent, Teresa and her husband don't work hard, blah, blah, blah. But then, she goes on to declare that Bro Joe really does

Read BoxMeowBox's comment, replace "morality" with "personal responsibility." Basically, that's your stance.

"I dont expect entire society to pay for the decisions ive made. If you cant handle legitimate question..."

Condoms are not cheap dear especially if you are living paycheck to paycheck. You don't understand the lack of responsibility because you've never had to make a conscious decision on which basic necessities you'll spend your money. There are alot of people in this country that can't afford to eat 3 meals a day; food

Why aren't you questioning the availablity to birth control? And if you want personal and sexual responsibility why aren't you up in arms about the GOP's assualt on Planned Parenthood which provides that service to these individuals in which you demand responsibility.

So, according to members of the GOP, all feminine health needs can be purchased in aisle 6 at Wallgreens, abortions are like shopping for light bulbs, and now women should plan ahead for rape with insurance packages. Ahh, the party of life dehumanizing women at every chance.

I've really be taken aback at the French media's disregard for the victim in this case. Today, there was an article in the NYT's New York Region section regarding the French journalists in NYC following the case. There were discussions of anti-French sentiment in the tabloids, the little deference American media

See, I think this reason is bullshit as well. I think he doesn't want his record with Lily, the Bush administration, and as govenor of Indiana under the microscope either. But then, I am cynical.

Hah, one set of clothes can have the dog's collar and leash next to it or the cat's collar next to the food bowl.

I hope those kids screw with their parents on Saturday by leaving the clothes and shoes they were wearing on the ground as if they've been Raptured and their parents have been left behind.

Oh, I also plan on getting puppies in addition to the kittens to protect my mansion from other heathens so I can be all Mr. Burns and say "Smithers (I'll name one of the kittens Smithers) release the hounds." But, I'll grab some ammo just to be on the safe side.

"I'm getting a mansion, a lexus and I'm filling them both with kittens and booze!"

As someone who lives in NYC and has spent some time in Florence, I cringe at how close their feet are to the dirty sidewalks in those flip-flops.

No, I'm not shocked. I've avoided reading about this story until this morning when I came across an editiorial in which I couldn't look away. The media narrative is taking the exact arc I expected which is why I was avoiding it in the first place.

From what I read in the NYTs this morning, French newspapers have all ready printed her name and address. She can't go to work, she can't go home, she's in seclusion, and the French elites are crying about how awful it is that DSK was photographed in handcuffs.

I don't live there any more or I would. I only go back to visit my family. And I don't want to offend anyone who still lives there, but the bleakness of the state when I go to visit is so depressing.
