As an avid sports fan, I had to quit reading most of the sports blogs & sites I used to read on a daily basis after the whole Erin Andrews Dress Controversy of 2008. The misogyn just became too much to over look. I dropped out of reading about sports, I can't imagine how women working in the field feel.
Jennifer Petkov is a crasser version of my mother. And much like my mother to whom I haven't seen or spoken in 14yrs, Petkov will eventually find herself alone and isolated after alienating those around her with her caustic behavior.
But mom says I'm a catch
@oathkeeper: Sweetie, I suggest you reread your blathering, emotional post before you try to call out anyone else. Second, you don't get to decide who DESERVES citizenship or not. Next, what you mean to say is that you don't want to pay taxes for the services they may or may not use. As a person with no children, I…
@oathkeeper: And finally, we get to your real issue. First, these children LIVE IN THE US. Denying them citizenship in the country they WERE BORN IN AND LIVE IN relegates them to second class status for the simple reason that you don't want to pay taxes. They were born here, they live here, this is their home…
@oathkeeper: Dear, you and your bigotry is my problem. Once again, most Americans were at one point in time perfectly content with slavery, Jim Crow, and seperate but equal. See Civil War, Little Rock, assassination of MLK, hey you could even read about the segregated proms that are still the norm in many places in…
@oathkeeper: I said most Americans AT ONE POINT OR ANOTHER were ok with slavery, Jim Crow, and seperate but equal, or they wouldn't have been laws now would they. You also need to pick up a history book and see how vehemently white Americans fought to keep those institutions in place. Perhaps start around the Civil…
@oathkeeper: Denying children born on American soil citizenship status and all the rights that it entails is a form of punishment to said child who has done absolutely nothing wrong. To act as if you are not creating second-class status for these children for which they can't escape is what's absurd.
@AmyM1975: First, explain to me why children are responsible for the actions of their parents. Then, explain to me why being born in American shouldn't automatically make you a citizen?
@mordicai: or the Average Joses.
After seeing the oh-so-hilarious video of the hot-hot-hot babes of the GOP yesterday, I've had that horrible song "She's a Lady" stuck in my head. Now, I've changed the lyrics: She's a bigot, whoa-whoa-whoa, she's a bigot. She thinks blacks don't know their place, she's got nothing nice to say, she's a bigot,…

Everyone is blaming the Obama administration and the NAACP for not fact checking the story, throwing the woman under the bus, and being weak cowards, but what about the so-called main stream media? MSN's homepage had the story about the black, racist govt official who wouldn't help a white farmer save his family farm…
