I agree with you on every point you made here. It's still strange living in a world where lots of people at Tottenham think Spurs should be a club in the Champions League every season. It's a nice thought no doubt, but won't happen considering everybody decent gets sold every summer.
I agree that there's a stubbornness there. But AVB is still young and has some bright ideas that need some fine tuning. I almost feel like he needs to maybe go under the radar for couple of seasons but somebody else is going to appoint him in some role.
