I’d imagine it’s a double edged sword considering Sony owns the patent on blu-rays and demonstrating that you were circumventing their protection would only give them the evidence they need to take even more than $50 right back from you.

It sounds like one of the devs was troubleshooting something, temporarily turned off poise, and then didn’t turn it back on.

Honestly, this was why I contributed to the Hero U kickstarter. I’m iffy on that property, but I was in love with Quest for Glory as a kid and had already pirated it before I was 10

Have you gone to GDC? Cause I’d say it’s a game developer’s conference... not a gamer’s conference. It’s not about the console titles at all, it’s about networking and getting solutions to pipelines. Most people with booths are vendors of 3d software, game engines, monetizetion platforms, cloud technology, vr hardware…

In fairness, Unsung Hero was a terrible pitch. It had nothing going for it other than names. No work had been done on a demo and there was really no reason to think it would go anywhere.

So if it’s like Star Trek, we should expect it to get pretty solid after the second season and then continue for many more years?

I’m with you on this one.... way better to just pick up a new drm free version of Quest For Glory, than worry that whatever you’ve just torrented is going to force you to reformat after dealing with a virus..

Weird, do you spend much time out doors? I saw loads of spiders when I lived in Sydney. Lots of Golden Orb, a couple White Tail, maybe 5 Huntsman, but luckily no Funnel Web (which are quite native to Sydney).

Not that they’d ever keep me from going back there. Sydney’s my favourite city I’ve lived in.

In fairness, I was remembering the PSP version, not the phone version of FFIV.

I really liked the 3DS version of it, but I would still feel frustrated on a touch screen. 5's update looked just as bad as 6, which looked just as bad as The After Years/PSP FFIV
