I really don't understand why the Japanese don't like xbox. During the first xbox, Microsoft didn't really focus on trying to wooh Japanese audiences. Sony already had a great relationship with Japanese developers so it was very difficult to get those titles ported.

Is there a a big fan base in Japan for American (or western in general) made video games/consoles/tech, kinda the same way there is one in the US for Japanese made games? Are there people in Japan looking forward to the X1 because its American?

Pretty much my feel with Nicholas I didn't plan on getting one my sister surprised me,,XBOX PR maybe one of the worst I've ever seen because the console it's self is pretty outstanding.

Glad to hear it. Yeah it's just too bad they are having a bad time explaining this stuff. It's just like apple phones vs android. Apple is not going to tell you the way to make your gadget cooler, but that doesn't mean it's not possible.

I received an Xbox One unexpectedly for Christmas (I was planning on waiting until everything stabilizes before jumping into next gen), but I gotta say... I have been nothing but impressed.

A moment to appreciate the excellent music of Assassin's Creed IV: Freedom Cry. I liked the soundtrack for AC IV: Black Flag just fine, but I really like Olivier Deriviere's work on Freedom Cry, which blends orchestral arrangements with traditional Haitian folk songs for a distinctive, evocative flavor.

Always online isn't meant to be the innovation, but a necessity of some of the innovations they were working on. Look at it in the same light as D3 always online and you'll understand. They made advances in the game, but those advances practically required online only, primarily due to alleviating the developers work

You had me listening until the pretentious as fuck "Oh" in the last paragraph. The last refuge of the "Have nothing relevant nor correct to say."

Someone said it here best, 2 weeks to fix, rest of time preparing legal plus PR spin.

You guys have burned customers far too often, so you will NEVER ever get a pass again.

yep... that's what would happen to me

Haha, sorry about that. I just saw that and I stopped everything else I was doing. I should of done a bit more digging to know that you've already been bombarded by people saying that.

Still, I must confess if that were the case, then all of my yes to it!

there was a video from GameInformer (I guess this year) where Cage and Suzuki talked about storytelling

I support this notion, if only for the delicious fanboy tears that a David Cage Shenmue game would produce.

No one has since made an adventure game quite like Shenmue, and no one will again, because it was insanely expensive to make and didn't sell enough to justify the cost.

I swear, he's about to break into song there.

The more Gabe lets his ego out, the more I dislike him. As a company, I love Valve, but as a person, I am getting tired of Gabe. Which is unfortunate, as he has crafted a great little empire.

He hasn't sold 65 million of anything. Steam is free and one can have many games for free or almost nothing with Steam. Hell,

Gabe, please don't inflate the already inflated egos of the PC Master Gaming Race even further.... -_-

bitch please

Yes... please go on about how the Wii U can do 1080p..... if you turn off everything and use low res textures.
Just saying that multiple companies said they didn't have the time to get their games ready in 1080p for XB1 because it was either A) too difficult to work out in the time they had or B) too hard to do with
