I switched to PureTalk which uses AT&T. Never going back to a contract plan again!
Google Voice. I have no interest in receiving Texts on my phone...ever. But a lot of folks prefer text communication so I wait until I am in front of a PC and text them for free.

You have a pet. You have to bath and brush them often and vacuum all floors often. The operative word is often. I vacuum our hard floors daily with a $19 vacuum without any brushes and it works great. We vacuum our carpets twice a week. Oh and brushing your dog...daily. It is a war on hair. Get used to it.
Vote: Box - Been using it for several years and much less quirky than DropBox. Great for collaborative projects or just personal use. Actually I use all of the services that are free but Box is my go to.
Good Luck with this routine. It is disruptive and whacky. And 75 minutes at your desk not working is still not working. If you are going to adopt this schedule best keep your resume updated.
I have had zero issues with Windows 7, which is a first for Microsoft OS's.
