But, if I watch it now, aren’t I letting one different person convince me in another direction?

Top 10 lists. Next on io9.
The second season of Fargo had a major subplot dealing with UFO sightings, but IO9 never acknowledged it even existed. :(
Agreed, yet here we are talking about it. I enjoy the debate of the list much better than the list itself.
It has surrealist elements. Probably not traditional “science fiction” category, but I’d say it could co-exist in a list with Luke Cage and The Good Place. One episode featured an invisible car!
I’m so happy The Expanse is still getting love. I can’t wait for Season 2, which seems like it’s going to kick it up all the notches.
What about Penny Dreadful? The final episode was a mess, but the season was great overall. The only thing better was Westworld.
I’m throwing in a vote for Killjoys as Most Fun and Most Hannah John-Kamen.
I have to disagree about Fear the Walking Dead. Despite it’s ridiculous title (and why they didn’t call the aftershow, “Hear the Talking Dead” I don’t understand), I find it more enjoyable than TWD in a lot of ways. The characters are more interesting and less stupid than most of TWD’s. I’m more involved with the…
Yeah it seems fresh to me since it’s divorced from all of Walking Dead’s comic book tropes. And while not all of the actors are amazing, three of them outshine anyone that’s ever been on Walking Dead.
I prefer it to The Walking Dead. I don’t actually dread watching it.
I thought the first episode was pretty good, so maybe you won’t like the show. You might just not be into dystopian thrillers.
I know it’s a tough call to create any list like that. But maybe you should include “honorable mentions” to try and make justice for those great shows that didn’t make the top 10, like Preacher.
It’s true that at one point the list would go on and on - it’s incredible how TV series are generally more entertaining than…
Gee, thanks for the Sleepy Hollow spoiler.
I don’t have cable / satellite. Just Netflix.
Right, the movie accepts their emotions and needs as genuine. If you want a movie or series that is concerned with whether or not what robots feel is genuine, look to Westworld.
How does that change a thing about Deckard?
When first announced, I wasn’t interested in Z-Nation either, but then I caught the Labor day marathon of the first season and I was hooked. Z-Nation is a cut above your typical zombie show. It’s funny and irreverent, with a strong cast of characters. I highly recommend it.
I might give it another try On Demand, but there are so many shows that I’ve missed, that it is currently at the bottom of the watch list.
