It will be enough for one reason. Your brain. VR is capable of tricking the brain on a subconscious level, therefore you can create real, valid experiences that feel just as impactful (give or take) as reality with a good enough headset+eventual pair of haptic gloves.

Seated games in VR can be more relaxing that what you get without the tech. It’s just a matter of reducing the size of the headsets to visors/goggles/glasses.

You realize that isolation can be fixed right? It’s not like it’s always going to a problem. Infact, 2nd gen headsets will address and fix this issue.

There was no new game mechanic possibilities with 3D screens, VR control is completely unique to console controller / keyboard + mouse controls.
I mean just that your hand is no longer glued to your cheek is huge, players can interact with stuff without having to spin towards it, click and spin back. not saying it’s an

I doubt it will go away completely. It has some pretty great uses in exploration, technology and medical fields so it’s still being improved upon all the time. The technology will just keep getting better and better, and sooner or later someone will make a smash hit game for it that everyone will want to play with

It might follow a similar course, but the arc will have to be much larger, since VR is still growing.

I own multiple VR headsets (Rift, Vive, PSVR) and it’s been totally worth it. I also demo VR to friends and family, and they love every moment of it. If you can find enjoyment in VR games then the investment is worth it. I think $300 to $400 for a VR kit is a decent price, but the $1K Valve Index bundle is seriously

LOL.. your like the guy who said TV was just a fad.  Flat gaming will come to an end in the next decade or so, and everyone will be in VR. Its the nextstep, it always has been

which is a huge shame imo because the experience is a lot more fun compared to standard gaming. Where as 3D TVs were never actually enjoyable/good imo

We’ve got a bunch of great candidates and none of them will ever pass the purity test.

The idea that someone who describes themselves as “Staff writer, mint chocolate hater” going after someone for being “smart and quirky!” is mildly amusing.

Ehh. I want this movie to be amazing, because I love Star Wars

You and your youngest will never hold that area, you can get to it from anywhere. Best try to move into Australia, there’s only one entry point and you can stack your horses and cannons right near Indonesia.

I for one am absolutely disappointed in your narrow mindedness. I actually dislike the skin but the reaction on twitch chat during the skins reveal was extremely positive. This says that there is an actual crowd that wants it. Just because you can’t enjoy it does not mean they did a bad job. In fact, it’s the

Hey, you. With your basic ability to read and reason without jumping to unwarranted conclusions. Who let you in here?

Works for me. In fact, that would be a much better hook for this post: The higher-ups at TWD should get on the same page. That way, you get a more accurate representation of what’s happening instead of insisting there’s something sinister happening. Plus, it’s a more interesting analysis: Hey, these two things seem

Or that there was simply miscommunication between the two people in question. It’s a big production crew, I’m sure two people had different takes and didn’t share them with each other.

Not at all. Simply of the opinion that there’s a middle ground here where no one is necessarily lying. But if you have an argument as to why one standpoint can’t exist with the other, then I’m all ears.

Not sure why these two standpoints have to be seen as mutually exclusive. On one hand, they heard some feedback and may have made some adjustments. On the other hand, they’re acknowledging that the scene in question was above and beyond the norm for the show, and that it was never intended as a baseline. I don’t feel

The zombies are the least interesting part.
