Johnny Depp's manner-of-speech gave me a chuckle on several occasions. Didn't think that was move was terrible at all. The witch was sexy. The girl turning into a werewolf, or whatever she was, was completely jarring

Impossible? I stopped comparing the two as soon as it became clear Mars wasn't involved in the plot. It was OK for a brainless dystopian action-flick.. Scenery was was pretty good, ending was pretty flat

i thought much of War of the Worlds was pretty damn stellar.. the storm, the emergence of the tripod from the intersection.. alienated divorced dad dealing with kids.. Yeah falls flat a bit late on, but not horrible by any stretch
