Finally threw in the towel this week. 1020 is plodding, slow, crashy and freezy and apps are actually regressing. It is a shame, I really like the OS and camera. I have zero confidence the app situation will ever improve and I think making 300 version of the same shitty phones and zero good phones anymore is a big

The DV8 pro is a nice little bargain, I had one until the charging port broke and was very happy with it. Not essentially the same thing though, it will run a different atom processor and the DV8 screen is very low end - the cost of a well tuned 10.8 1920x1280 screen is significant and additional battery required to

Last Vegas was a terrible movie, I can't imagine the remake set in Indianapolis is going to improve it.

There's not a lot of gold in that watch. It doesn't even appear to have a gold band.

Plus, we Lions fans can go back to enjoying Sundays off by mid-November when they are officially out of the playoff hunt.

After the most recent of the 8.1 updates, the phone became extremely laggy and stutters when you scroll through app icons and open apps. The camera has also gotten slower and crashes frequently.

Disagree, the low end doesn't help with the app gap at all because users can't buy stuff.

They will be effectively 27 months between flagships and after scrapping McLaren, their investment in cyanogen mod, their unceremonious abandonment of RT and the devs abandoning WP in droves (does any bank still support it?), I wouldn't be surprised to see them abandon the platform entirely before a flagship is ever

At least they are trying something, which is much more than I can say for Microsoft's version of trying which consists 199 versions of the same shitty low end phone exclusive to random countries, carriers and archipelagos with features stripped out.

I love this thing. I certainly believe it opens up the wine the same way you would in a decanter sitting around for 30 minutes.

I thought they were shipping RTM in June, which is not that far off. If they can make additional changes there may be time. I certainly hope so, since I thought the lack of content notwithstanding 8.1 had the best tablet OS.

which is why I mentioned there was a lot of work to do before RTM. If you have used the preview build for touch, it sucks very badly.

Windows 10 - marginally better for desktop, useless for touch. Really really really bad on touch computers. Who cares maybe? I guess they may just cede that market entirely but if not there is a metric shit ton of work to get done between now and RTM to make this OS work on tablets and 2 in 1s. I had to take it

And now that bully is making a fortune with an app that lets users send tractors to run over people they hate.

It is really unfortunate MS ruined OneDrive on Windows 10 by removing placeholder files. You can't include the folders as a drive in explorer without locally storing all of the files in the folder which is a huge problem if you're using a device where you most need the cloud storage.

I'm seeing a strange Android device showing up but in places I have actually been at the time using a surface pro and no remove button. Don't own an android device, is it possible my surface is showing up as an android?

My only pwning was Gawker.

so if you buy 12 iwatches you can track your glucose for a whole day?

Logan had pretty good success with BC running their offense during Matt Ryan's breakout year in 2007 and the following year with a very lackluster squad talent-wise. It was the only period post-Flutie where they were relevant int he national conversation.

I think MS sells the bloatware free PCs, obviously the surface line is bloatware free but believe they are selling OPM computers without it too. I have also purchased a Dell and Lenovo hybrid in the last 2 years from costco and lenovo, respectively, and neither came with more than 1 or 2 apps installed at the most.
