We use one for our baby, its a great product. I'm not going to put my phone in her room overnight to do the same thing poorly.

I've got a 1st gen pro. What I really need is a lightweight tablet with word, sd card and USB. I think that means baytrail, nokia 2520 or amateur surface. The question is really, if RT is killed will ARM devices be able to run metro apps for the next 2-3 years. I don't know what this combination plan means for

I thought this means RT becomes WP and vice versa so one app would work on all MS mobile platforms. However, if WP and RT are merged, does this mean x86 tablets and computers will run the WP/RT apps from the metro screen?

Naked and Famous?

Thank you for adding WP8 apps.

It could be a selling point for Samsung to rollout Tizen, if they are really serious about moving away from Android.

Will third party handset makers get all of the nokia apps post-acquisition? Having gone from an 8x to a 1020, the nokia apps are a really nice addition and I'm not sure I could walk away from them to go back to HTC. I think my HTC had some of the nokia collection apps but pretty sure it couldn't get all of them.

Impressed by the shape that car is in after seeing how mangled the cop cars were.

Completely agree. Ugly and useless. We all want new devices, the latest and best and groundbreakingest thing to come out since the ipad , but I remain completely unpersuaded by the utility of this thing. You think I won't notice you checking your silly ridiculous looking watch during a meeting? I can never see

I discovered this weekend my oven has a dehydrator setting, which is basically convection at 150 degrees. It took about 18 hours, plus one short burst at 250 for safety. This really works best if you have a fan circulating the air constantly during the cooking process. Those giant skirt steak packs at Costco make

It also included a more robust headphone amp than most phones have, and power is good.

When? The window of opportunity for RT is closing quickly. I think they will have failed if they don't have something out by Christmas, and given their slow rollouts to date I would be surprised if they could do that. I would buy the shit out of a 7.5 inch surface but they screwed up by not having one to market as

Surface Pro which is used primarily as a laptop or hooked up to 24 inch touchscreen monitor, unless I'm travelling or doing markups with the pen which happens regularly and is a god send. Performance is great and I love it but it is not a tablet-first tablet.

I had one of these. It represented a sea change in how people did business.

I have always used the power button. Not sure why, I guess the way I hold it makes the home button inconvenient.

[Just try explaining a Lumia 1020's oversampling at Thanksgiving.]

Is that really enough Xs to satisfy someone with a very Xtreme lifestyle? Where are the dropped vowels and Zs? How can your average phone user be expected to enter the Xander Zone without a RAZR moniker and at least, like, one more X?

KingSeiko day-date in Kanji, Rolex AirKing, Girard Perregaux doctors watch from the 1930s, IWC 40s era wind-up, Breitling Colt Ocean, Seiko Orange Monster, first version of the Omega Constellation pie pan automatic calendar, Omega Seamaster and a G shock. I will not be adding a smart watch to this collection.

Nobody is saying they invented it, they are saying they REinvented it, reimagining what plastic can be, redesigning the plastic phone and changed the industry as a result, making other manufacturers reconsider the injection molded cases they were already using and will continue to use. Its pretty simple lately.

I personally think it looks better, I think it is a better design choice after my 5 chipped in 10 places from a 12 inch drop, it cuts out the middleman since 95+% of 5s's will end up in an additional layer of plastic or rubber, but neither of these is enough to justify an upgrade. I think HTC, Samsung and Nokia are
