I use it a lot of my surface pro and fairly regularly on my HT/GamingPC. I prefer the metro apps since they are fast and fluid, there just aren't enough of them. I never used the start button before W8, everything was pinned to the taskbar, so even from desktop I never needed the start button.

That has been my experience as well. My metadata was ruined, I get commercials during my own music, my surface pro won't play about 50% the songs I own (legitimately purchased and burned from CDs) or seems to randomly replace my music with the "clean" version, and my WP8 device won't play the music most of the time

Also Fugas. For whatever that's worth.

Adults wearing board shorts that aren's surfing are ridiculous. Adults wearing short pants that reach their knees are ridiculous. Grow up, peter pan. Short pants and bathing costumes should reach about halfway down your thighs. Look at an adult man, wearing appropriate short pants (never in the city unless it is

Didn't he recently win the NFL good guy award?

Now just move the streaming services out of the paywall and I'll be buying both consoles.

So on the bright side of this whole ordeal, there will be a fantastic Nic Cage vehicle ready for summer release in 2014.

This is a big move, seeing as Netflix has tumbleweeds blowing through its kids section after Amazon acquired all of the content kids want.

I have an iphone 5 and hate it only because the thing is just too small. I constantly feel like I am going to drop it and my thumbs go way to far to the other side, making me bend deeply at the knuckle to do anything. The buttons are too tiny and I constantly miss them, get no response or hit the wrong thing. I

I was going to switch platforms because I expect a convergence of content between W8, WP8 and Xbox, I happily use a surface and a windows phone, but I can't just on principal. Its not the money, I understand there are discounts and even $60 is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Its that it turns an expensive

I've grown fond of it. My thumb is constantly looking for it on my iphone only to be disappointed by having to use the home button. Maybe the new features will fix that, but I find WP8 much easier to use than iphone.

Hold down back and you can see everything that is hope by scrolling sideways.

Brown bear brown bear, what do you see?

Revolutionary, a game changing, genre shifting change. Apple has done it again, reinventing the smart phone, redefining the genre, reimagining, from the ground up, what a phone can be. I just wish it had more leather.

You can take the boy out of Ann Arbor...

I don't really remember any high end grocery stores in Ann Arbor until Whole Foods and Busch's rolled around. Krogers, Meijers and Farmer Jack's (its always savings time, at Farmer Jack's - I love that jingle) were all of the same quality to me. I remember going into Spartan stores outside of Ann Arbor and thinking

I have been using the hbo go site and desktop apps for amazon, etc. on my surface pro, but I'd really like a dedicated metro app for each when using in tablet mode to make it easier to be touch only.

I hate Xbox music so much. I hate the way it syncs with WP8. I hate everything about it except the way it looks. It doesn't read my music from the SD mini card on the surface, it messes with the metadata and seems to have converted half of my songs to a non-explicit version, it just does everything so wrong. I

I have a WP8 device and I agree. My 8X is smoother and more responsive than my iphone 5 and much better than the android devices I have used. It doesn't need 4 cores or 4GB of RAM or 1080p. But I still want all of those things and the Nokia released at year end a mere 5 months away with WP9 will have at least some
