Atom CPUs are pointless and suck. Not sure why anyone would want them to drop i5 in favor of an Atom. The next gen i5 chips are supposed to be much more efficient, so I imagine the 2nd generation will have a longer battery life. Not really fair to compare the Pro's battery life to a regular tablet in the first

I need something that is useful on week long vacations and business trips via citrix, since I still use a desktop at the office and home. I hate lugging a heavy laptop, so I was planning to get an ultrabook until Surface Pro was announced. The ipad can work in a pinch with a keyboard but not quite useful or powerful

WP8 sales have been very strong. NOK stock is trending up strongly based on WP8 sales and analysts are saying around 10 million WP8 devices sold by 1/1/13, so were you right?

I think there are a lot of people interested in pro for the very reason that RT is not moving - they want a combo unit so they can avoid paying $500 for a consumption device and another grand for a productivity device - so MS put something out that their own product is designed to draw market share from.

I read earlier today that they may hit 10 million WP8 devices by the end of the year, which would make WP8 a viable third mobile OS with a future and the 920 is largely responsible for that happening.

Paying to read Jennifer Rubin articles is already a thing at fetish dungeons.

In NYC, T mobile's network has been better for me than any of the other network and I have tried all of them, and their price is substantially less than the competitors. I'm happy pretty happy with the Androids and WP8 phones I have used on their network, but adding another option is a good thing.

This game on PS3 is the reason I abandoned the system and switched to PC gaming. It had 3-4 minute load times every time I moved around the map.

trademarks do not work that way.

My last phone weighed the same as the 920 and I just got tired of it pulling my pants down. My decision to upgrade was largely based on getting a lighter phone so despite the 920's advantages I preferred the 8x. I don't doubt that most consumers probably care far less than I did about an extra 55 grams but for me it

I chose the 8x because I hated having a heavy phone, but the Lumia is measurably equal or better in basically every other category. At worst they should be tied.

Dialectic absorption and skin effect are real to me, damnit.

LOL wut?

I have little interest in the surface RT and would likely choose the ipad over the options at that price point, but calling it one of the most overpriced gadgets of all time is hyperbole at best. It is priced, maybe 15-20% too high, maybe. Less apps, more ram, more storage, some productivity software and the ability

First time I have ever seen anyone compare Francisco Spazerelli to Tom Selleck. Not buying it.

I think it is more along the lines of truly something magical, reimagined from the sky down.

I will buy one but I really hope they offer some pre-order incentive like throwing in a keyboard. I wanted both keyboards but I'm not going to pay for two.

Hardware choice?

So would all of the processing be done in the TV? Would it bitstream sound to a AV processor, or would we have to rely on its PCM signal? The whole thing would be a waste from my perspective, since I'm going to use a high end processor for other sources, but maybe I'm in a very small minority.
